2019 Spartan Race

The summer of 2019 will be short on animations and events in the Portes du Soleil mountains! Harley Days, Mountain Bike World Cup in Les Gets fans of bikes and beautiful engines are served! Sports fans also have their events for Morzine welcomes for the second consecutive year the already legendary Spartan Race !

A BOOTCAMP STYLE RACE

On July 6th and 7th, take up the Spartan challenge at Morzine. Teamed up or solo, discover a trail strewn with obstacles: race, jump, climbing of walls, and other tests inspired by military bootcamp. Your mission ? Achieve the best time on one of the three courses offered: open (for fun), competitive (harder) elite (only for seasoned and trained athletes)
A Junior Race race is also offered to children from 6 to 13 years old. For the adults, on the program, three typical trails trail punctuated with obstacles:

Sprint : 6+ km/20+ obstacles
Super : 13+ km/ 25+ obstacles
Beast : 20+ km/ 30+ obstacles

SPECIFIC IN MORZINE : THE TRIFECTA WEEK END

For the more experienced, Morzine Avoriaz hosts the only Trifecta week end of the 2019 Spartan edition. Morzine is one of the most demanding destination on endurance races (beast or ultra beast) and requires preparation and adaptability in the Mountain surroundings. The Morzine Beast Race will be part of the France National Series 2019.
